Who are Animals as Leaders?

THREE PLAYERS.
NO SINGER.

The band

Animals as Leaders began in 2007 as a solo project by guitarist Tosin Abasi and grew into a trio with Javier Reyes on guitar and Matt Garstka on drums. The name comes from Daniel Quinn's novel Ishmael. Five studio albums later, from Animals as Leaders (2009) to Parrhesia (2022), Animals as Leaders Merch puts their art on tees, hoodies and sweatshirts.
